Colorado Serum Tetanus Toxoid - Unconcentrated
Tetanus Toxoid is used for the prevention of tetanus in healthy horses, cattle, sheep, goats and swine not infected with tetanus. Protective antibody levels usually occur about two weeks after the second injection of the primary immunization series.
Tetanus Toxoid Dosage & Administration:
For primary immunization, two doses should be administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly approximately 30 days apart.
Use intramuscularly for horses as local reactions are more likely to occur if injected subcutaneously.
