X-50A Electric Dehorner

Automatic heat control maintains heat at 1,000° for fast, easy use. No blood loss or open wound. Perforated housing keeps handle cool. 110 volt AC with 3 wire grounded cord. Approximately 216 watts.

X-50A comes as shown with a 3/4" (inner diameter) tip. Smaller adapter tips sold separately.

Adapter tips also available (sold separately):

  • 1/4" (R5A1)
  • 3/8" (R5A2)
  • Buck (R5A3)
  • 1/2" (R5D4)

Note: Not recommended for small calves unless you use the smaller adapter tip (1/2") sold separately.

Replaced An Old One

Rinehart we used for years finally died. We found this one at a reasonable price. Wife used it with 1/2" Adapter Tip to disbud kids. She said it worked well and quick.
Now I know difference between it and X-50 is the X-50 can be used to solder. Doubt we

Great disbudding iron

This iron works very well. Heats up and burns the buds quickly. Seems to be the best on the market.

Great Product "if it worked"

I ordered one since I loved my friends but once I received it and plugged it in nothing happened. So I called Rhinehart and they have the warranty I just had to pay to ship it to them to get repaired. So hopefully I will get many years of use out of it on
