Zoologic® Milk Matrix Milk Replacers are scientifically formulated milk protein powders designed to provide customized nutrition for wild, exotic, and non-domestic mammals. As part of an integrated feeding system, Milk Matrix formulas can be used alone or blended with other Milk Matrix products to closely match the natural milk composition of a wide variety of species, helping support healthy growth, development, and overall well-being in orphaned, hand-reared, or rehabilitating animals.
Developed for use with zoo, wildlife, marine, and exotic species, these highly digestible formulas provide targeted levels of protein and fat to meet the unique nutritional requirements of mammals ranging from primates and carnivores to marine mammals and other specialized species. Each formula is fortified with essential vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and trace nutrients to support proper development during critical growth stages.
The numbers in each formula represent the guaranteed levels of crude protein and crude fat. For example, Milk Matrix 33/40 contains 33% crude protein and 40% crude fat.

A balanced, high-energy formula containing 33% crude protein and 40% crude fat. Ideal for species requiring elevated fat levels while maintaining moderate protein intake. Commonly used for: black bears, brown bears, polar bears, some marine mammals, raccoons, skunks, opossums, foxes & certain exotic carnivores.

A high-protein formula containing 42% crude protein and 25% crude fat. Suitable for species requiring increased protein levels to support growth and development. Commonly used for: primates, some hoofstock species, exotic herbivores & certain omnivorous mammals.

Feeding Directions:
As a general guideline, feed liquid or reconstituted milk replacer at 10% to 20% of body weight daily, depending on species, age, condition, growth rate, and stool quality. Divide the daily amount into 6 to 12 feedings per day as appropriate.
Weaning Supplement:
Because of its highly digestible milk nutrients, Milk Matrix formulas make an excellent transitional supplement during weaning. Add approximately 1 teaspoon per 10 lb of body weight to the animal's diet.
Storage:
Store unopened powder in a cool, dry place. Reconstituted formula should be refrigerated and used within 24 hours. Opened powder may be refrigerated for up to 3 months or frozen for up to 6 months. Unopened powder may be frozen to extend shelf life up to 6 months beyond the best-by date.
